Home is a warm place.

The thing that prompted David and I to look in ernest to search for a house to call our own was the fact that we lived in apartment with no heat.

We used the oven for warmth and bought a space heater. we took lots of steamy showers.

The fact that right now, as I sit here I am watching our cozy wood stove warm our home and I am not cold is amazing to me.

Despite the fact that we still haven't painted a single wall and still have many rooms not quite furnished and pictures still waiting to be hung, today, having a cozy fire in the house makes it feel like finally, this place is ours.

Home is finally a warm and cozy place with heat.
